Alec joined Knowles Husain Lindsay in 2000 and was appointed as a director in 2004. 

Alec heads up the Property and Wills and Estates Departments and has expertise in commercial and residential transfers, property developments of both Townships and Sectional Title Schemes, registration of mortgage bonds for major commercial and retail banks, Notarial work, estate planning, administration of deceased estates, Trust Deeds and preparation of commercial agreements.

Alec has been recognised by Best Lawyers for Real Estate in 2022, 2023 and 2024, and has been endorsed as a recommended lawyer in Real Estate by PLC Which Lawyer.


Qualifications

BA LLB (University of the Witwatersrand), Notary and Conveyancer, Advanced Certificate in Company Law (University of the Witwatersrand) and an Advanced Course in Deceased Estates Practice (University of South Africa/ LSSA)
