Aleksandra Burr Dixon started her legal career as a paralegal in 2002 at Adwokaci & Doradcy. She then joined Jurgens Bekker Attorneys in the same position in 2003 where she completed her articles and was appointed as an associate. As a result of her hard work and passion for law she was promoted to an attorney in 2009. She joined KHL in 2012 as an associate and was promoted to Director in 2013. With a legal career spanning almost two decades, Aleksandra specialises in corporate and commercial dispute resolution for both local and foreign clients in various industries.
Her strong corporate background enables her to help clients easily navigate the impact of company law on their corporate structures. Her key focus areas also include commercial transactions, such as mergers and acquisitions, financing and security transactions and a wide spectrum of commercial arrangements.
Aleksandra’s notable achievements and experience include:
- Advising a mining industry client on construction arrangements with a contract value of more than R1billion.
- A regular contributor to the Polish Ministry of Trade’s website on conducting business in South Africa.
