Sarah joined Knowles Husain Lindsay in 2011 and was appointed as a director in 2018.
Her practice area is corporate and commercial litigation, with a focus on business rescue, insolvency, insurance, medical scheme and constitutional law matters.
She has represented clients in matters before the Constitutional Court, Supreme Court of Appeal, various South African Superior Courts, and the Council for Medical Schemes. She has also assisted clients in a number of local and international arbitrations.
Sarah has collaborated with Lisa Vetten, Teresa Le and Alexandra Leisegang on THE RIGHT AND THE REAL: A Shadow Report Analysing Selected Government Departments’ Implementation of the 1998 Domestic Violence Act and 2007 Sexual Offences Act, and her Master’s dissertation was entitled “The Implication For Creditors of the Business Rescue, Liquidation And Transitional Provisions Of The Companies Act, 2008”.
